In 2020, Apple is expected to launch up to four new iPhones distributed at different price points and with different hardware and screen sizes. Of these, the smallest will be a 5.4-inch model, iPhone 12 with 6.7-inch screen while two phones will have a 6.1-inch screen, while the high-end iPhone for the year will have a 6.7-inch panel.
And now, the Japanese blog Mac Otakara has revealed new details about the devices. The blog claims to have obtained information from sources within Apple’s supply chain in China and claims that the 6.7-inch model will be around 7.4 mm thick, which would be almost 10% thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max 8.1 mm.
He also claims that the 6.7-inch model will be slightly taller than the iPhone 11 Pro Max and will feature a triple-lens rear camera with sensors larger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The report also states that the iPhone 12 line could have the same case design as the iPhone 11. Interestingly, iPhone 12 with 6.7-inch screen this is in contradiction with the previous revelations of Ming-Chi Kuo, who has said that the iPhone 12 will present a more square design similar to the iPhone 4 as part of a major redesign of the chassis.
In addition to the 6.7-inch iPhone, the report also talks about the other models on the list, revealing that the 5.4 and 6.1-inch models will feature dual camera configurations. In addition, it is said that all models to be launched in 2020 have OLED screens, and it has previously been reported that they include a new “A14” chip system processor and 5G connectivity.
But that is not all.
Previous reports have also suggested that Apple is working on an iPhone 9 with a design that will borrow elements from the iPhone 8. It will include Touch ID and the home button, among other things.
A recent MyDrivers report suggests that Apple has even finished testing the iPhone 9 and is preparing to launch it within the first quarter of 2020. This could very well be March 2020 when Apple generally organizes an event that announces an affordable iPad model .
The phone is also designed to be Apple’s most affordable iPhone. Two variants of the device are expected to be released, the cheapest one brings 64 GB of storage and costs $ 399, approximately Rs 28,000.
